What do I do if my Gas Stove hand control is not working.

You could have flat batteries in your handset or receiver. These should be replaced at the start of a new heating season.

To check the handset, Check the indicator on the top right of your display. If the receiver batteries need to be replaced there will be frequent beeps for 3 seconds when the motor turns.

Replacing the Batteries on the Receiver Unit.

  1. Remove the cover plate between the feet of the stove, this is held in place by magnets.

2 Remove the large screw which holds the receiver in place; then, taking care not to dislodge any of the components, slide the receiver forward.

3. To open the battery box, slide the battery cover to the left.

4. Change the batteries making sure the polarity of the batteries are the correct way around. (The receiver requires 4 x Good quality AA alkaline batteries all of the same age and brand.)

Synchronization of the receiver and the Handset.

1. Press and hold the receiver reset button until you hear two (2) beeps.

2. After the second, longer beep, release the reset button.

3. Within the subsequent twenty (20) seconds, press the arrow down, temperature button on the handset.

4. Two (2) short beeps confirm the code is set.

Carefully slide the receiver back into place; do up the large screw and replace the cover plate using the magnets.

Why is my Gas stove lighting for a few seconds and then going out?
